The Indy Black Chamber of Commerce will be joining us to share information that will help small business owners and entrepreneurs gain a better understanding of the acronyms of bidding and requests for proposals. The session will help participants identify and define terms and acronyms that are associated with the bidding process such as IFQ, IFB, RFQ, and RFI. Participants will learn the purpose for proposals and how each designation is used by purchasing departments in the bidding process for most City, State, and Federal contracts. Participants will also learn how understanding this process for bidding could increase their business revenue stream. Find out if your company is ready to submit a proposal. Registration is FREE. Facilitator for the session is Anita Williams. She has over 20 years of small business consulting experience. She has been employed by the Iowa Department of Economic Development; Illinois/Iowa Supplier Development Council; State of Indiana Dept. of Administration, and certification department; Business Manager for Rowley Security Firm and Vice Chair for Indy Black Chamber of Commerce.
