About the Area
Conveniently located between Broad Ripple and downtown Indianapolis, Mapleton-Fall Creek and the surrounding neighborhoods provide easy access to the best of the city. Dining, shopping, and entertainment are just a short bike or car ride away, and nearby I-70, I-65, and I-465 make for speedy travel within and beyond the city.
The Fall Creek Greenway and Monon trails make it easy to stay fit or commute by bike, and three pocket parks invite neighbors to relax outside. The Indiana State Fairgrounds, which hosts over 300 events every year, lies within the immediately northeast corner of Mapleton-Fall Creek. The area also has active faith-based and community associations, as well as over 230 small businesses and organizations.
Families have a wide variety of nearby educational choices, including public, private, and charter schools.

Homeowner Repair
Our home repair program makes houses safe and livable for low to moderate income homeowners. It allows seniors to age in place, people with disabilities to maintain independence, and families to live with dignity.
This program covers the cost of critical maintenance and repairs to roofs, gutters, sewers, windows, and more. We also help residents who are aging or disabled receive handrails, smoke detectors, and yard work.
Eligibility
To qualify for a subsidized MFCDC home, your household must earn less than 80% of the area’s median income.

We work with homebuyers of all income levels, backgrounds, and credit histories. The Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership provides counseling to help individuals restore credit and move closer to homeownership.
