MFCDC will be hosting a Fall Harvest Festival at the Central Avenue Gardens on Saturday, October 27th from Noon-4PM.

It is sure to be a fun time for the entire family! We’ve got something for everyone – check out some of the details below:

Scheduled Activities: – Cooking Demonstration and Storytelling (Stone Soup Fable) by Joyce Moore w/ Urban Patch (Noon-1PM) – Community Drum Circle facilitated by Natalie Pipkin (1PM-2PM) – Fire-Pit and Smore’s (2PM-3PM) – Raffle and Prizes (Drawings at 2PM & 3PM)

All Day Activities: (Noon-4PM) – Bounce House – Face Painting (Time Varies) – Coloring Activities & Word Puzzles – Board Games (Chess, Checkers, Connect 4, Pictionary, etc.) – Outdoor Games (Horseshoe, Potato Sack Race, Ring Toss, etc.) – Pumpkin Sale – Pumpkin Decorating

Be sure to get there early so that you don’t miss out on any of the fun! Feel free to bring your folding chairs if you want to hang out and stay warm around the fire pit. We are also still selling pumpkins this weekend (Fri. Sat. Sun. Noon-4PM) – so if you haven’t purchased yours yet, there’s still time!
