The Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) is very excited to invite you to witness an amazing display of 250,000 spring blooms on our campus through May 30. As part of this presentation, more tulip bulbs than ever were planted in the fall: well over 100,000! As part of IMA’s rotating seasonal horticultural displays, almost 65,000 bulbs will need to be dug out of beds near the end of the presentation. The IMA dubbed this bulb rotation Bulbapalooza and it starts next week!

The IMA needs your help to tackle this feat. Everyone is invited to participate regardless of skill level and affiliation. Thank you for your participation in previous years’ efforts. Everyone who participates in digging bulbs will be allowed to take that piece of IMA home with them. Digging will take place May 16-June 3.
