If so, you have the opportunity to start a career in construction right here in your neighborhood on The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis’ Riley Children’s Health Sports Legends Experience. Starting wages average $14/hour.

Save the date for a Construction Jobs Info Session on March 14, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College (2525 North Capitol Avenue). At this info session, participants will learn about the Sports Legends Experience Project, find out what it takes to start a career in construction, register for free community sponsored resources and training, and find out what employers want and how to get it.

Then, on April 25 stop by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis from 9am-12pm for a Construction Job Fair event where you can meet with subcontractors who are interested in hiring people from your neighborhood.
